CJCGC Jail Outreach Update

It is exciting to see what the Lord is doing through Christian Job Corps of Gillespie County. In addition to serving the women in our Connect Training Program, we are blessed to serve and encourage men and women incarcerated in the county jail.
Our Jail Outreach Program volunteers meet weekly with men on Monday nights and women on Friday nights. We empower each individual to better understand him/herself as well as others in preparation for life after his/her sentence is completed. Topics include anger management, communication skills and vocational exploration among many. Bible study, singing and sharing with each other are opportunities to develop community among the inmates each week.
